MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Sep 03

Worked for 6.5 hours (part of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Rain from start until 9:30.
   Beg: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

The night started off with another storm and high humidity.
Went through the lightning shutdown procedure.
Didn't last too long, though. Started opening up around
9:30, but when I did the North mirror cover got caught on
the center baffle. Had to nudge the baffle to free the 
mirror cover. Once I did though I was able to open and close
the covers without issue.

The humidity flirted with the observing limit for much of
the night. Then at around 4 it gradually went over it and
I closed for what turned out to be the rest of the night.
