MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Sep 13 Observer(s): Weil Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1-1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1-1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1-1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Overall good night of observing. I did not use the automatic focus temperature compensation for the focus tonight, however if I had, it would have caused the telescope to be out of focus. The focus values did not follow the previous trends of changing 45u/deg, in fact they did not change at all throughout the night despite a 2 degree change in temperature. The focus values were determined through multiple focus tests during the night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2018 Sep 14 [5:24:21]
