MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Apr 14 Observer(s): Rupert Institution(s): MDM Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 10.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Noticed squeaking when moving fast enough in RA. If moved at the guide and set speeds, there was no noise. At the slew speed it sounded like squeaking emanating from the bearing that recently had been discovered to have walked a little bit. This didn't seem to affect anything, but might be something to look into before something does. Light cirrus popped in and out throughout the night, but also didn't really hinder observations. A fine end to this run! ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 Apr 15 [4:24:29]
