MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Dec 14

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 2 until 4.
   Beg: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Clear but breezy with only-ok seeing until after midnight, when
we had episodes of patchy moonlit high cloud, which made a couple
of hours' worth of observations unusable. Humidity rose through 
the night but stayed (just) below limits.  Dewar did not fog.
One glitch - the guide probe froze, cured by power-cycling the
MIS control box.  Started training graduate student Aylin 
Garcia-Soto.
