MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Dec 16 Observer(s): Thorstensen and students Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 2-5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 2-5 arcsec, Clear, Winds High Observing Summary: I think the only glitch was having the guide probe motion freeze one time. Very cold, just above freezing, and pretty windy, though nowhere near limit. Seeing ranged from mediocre at times to atrocious at others, but it was perfectly clear. Fortunately, there were parts of the program that don't depend on very good seeing. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 Dec 17 [8:30:04]
