MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Dec 17 Observer(s): Thorstensen&students Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 11 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 2+ arcsec, Clear, Winds High Mid: Seeing 2+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 2+ arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: No problems. We thought we had a shutter problem early, but never established that definitively. Night started with high winds, but they moderated somewhat as the night went on. The seeing was poor all night, but not quite as comically terrible as last night. We closed a half-hour early when a band of cirrus rolled through. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 Dec 18 [6:11:00]
