MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Jan 10 Observer(s): Rupert Institution(s): MDM Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 4.5 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from START until 8PM. Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Light & Variable, High Humidity Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable, High Humidity End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm, High Humidity Observing Summary: It was a roller coaster ride of humidity tonight. Clouds and high humidity delayed opening until 8PM. About an hour and a half later, the humidity shot up above the observing limit again, so I closed up at that point. Humidity decreased to observable levels around 12:30. Starting at around 2:45 the humidity started more slowly rising. It exceeded the observing limit again at 3:30, so I closed once again (if I wasn't good at that before, well...) for what would be the rest of the night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 Jan 11 [5:08:30]
