MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Jan 27 Observer(s): Ryan Chornock, Laura Herzog Institution(s): Ohio University Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.25 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: An excellent night: clear, good seeing, and mostly dark. No issues to report. Worth noting that I had to change the focus at the beginning of Friday night, but after that the temperature adjustment worked as advertised and I never had to refocus over the next three nights. I didn't fill OSMOS in the morning in anticipation of the instrument change. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 Jan 28 [7:13:37]
