Moran Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: CCDS Worked for 5 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.75 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Heavy clouds at the start of the night, but it cleared about 1.5 hours after 18 deg twilight. We were able to observe continuously after that, though clouds were present and the seeing was unsteady at times. Everything worked well. This was our first night with the new slit viewer on CCDS. Things went smoothly in terms of operation. However, we need more practice setting the MaximDL display stretch so that we are better able to pick up faint objects in the field. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 Jul 6 [4:34:59]
