MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Jun 06 Observer(s): Wagner and Ierace Institution(s): OSU Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 3.5 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 19:30 until 23:00. Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Thick clouds and cirrus at the start of the night prevented opening near sunset. The sky cleared and was stable enough to open around 23:00. Conditions steadily improved. Completed some targets that were leftover from the previous 3 photometric nights. Closed early with a flight out tomorrow morning. No issues. The work Eric and Tony did on the RA drive may have helped the tracking performance. Saw no jumps as in the previous 3 nights. Also there were no TCS crashes as well. Very productive run. A big thanks to Eric and Tony for their usual great support. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 Jun 7 [2:38:46]
