MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Mar 19 Observer(s): Schiminovich + Melso + Observational Astronomy Class Institution(s): Columbia University Instrument: OSMOS + MDM4K Blue Worked for 7 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1-1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Mostly clear skies early but plenty of cirrus throughout night a limiting factor. Used OSMOS in both imaging and spectroscopic modes. No significant issues. Because we needed to leave for the airport we only used 2/3 of the night.
