MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Sep 07 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 4 hours (off and on through the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: There were clouds around all night, mostly pretty heavy, with some intervals that were tolerably clear. I did manage to get some useful data. I'm reasonably sure now that the telescope jumping issue is not entirely solved -- it happened several times. It seemed worst when I was chasing an object in the northwest at hour angle past 5 hours. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 Sep 8 [5:10:18]
