MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Sep 08

Worked for 0.2 hours (part of the night)
Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 21:00 until end.
   Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Moderate
   End: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Opened very briefly in twilight and grabbed a spectrum of a 
velocity standard star.  Closed up as conditions began to 
deteriorate -- for once these really were the threatening clouds
the KPNO website warns against!  A while later there were a 
few bursts of rain, followed by lowering clouds turning to fog.
Winds not high, but a bit stronger than they have been.

Left for the airport an hour before beginning of twilight.
