MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2020 Dec 13 Observer(s): Rupert Institution(s): MDM Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 3:40 until emd. Beg: Seeing 1.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Clouds rolled in near the end of the night. Upon further observing, I've learned that the ringing of the RA drive occurs when slewing West. It does not occur at slower move speeds or moving east.
