MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2020 Jan 16 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable, cloud for 1st hr Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Grim all day with lowering clouds. The clear edge overtook us around 7 PM, and it was clear for the rest of the night. The humidity started rising before dawn, so I closed just around twilight rather than pushing into the dawn. Seeing was decent. At one point I had to restart Prospero because the status window stopped updating the filename. That was the only step necessary to resolve the issue. Not worth a trouble report, I think. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2020 Jan 17 [6:39:48]
