MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2020 Jan 17 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5-2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.5-2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5-2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Cirrusy during the afternoon, but cleared off well. Humidity started rising after sunset, but then rapidly declined and is now only a few percent. Clear all night; the seeing was decent. A very productive night with no technical faults.
