MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2020 Jan 27 Observer(s): Jiangtao Li, Luyuan Li, Wei Sun, Rui Huang Institution(s): University of Michigan Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: We encountered a serious problem about the telescope guider, which cannot be moved as demand. We met this problem at around 23:00, when we shift to another target. This target requires us to rotate the detector 75 degree clockwise. we do not know whether the failure of the guider is due to this movement. We managed to make the observation on some targets which do not need to shift the guider (fortunately). However, the guider issue is still unresolved at the end of our observation. However, the weather condition is good enough. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2020 Jan 28 [7:42:20]
