MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Dec 05 Observer(s): Melso/Sitaram Institution(s): Columbia University Instrument: CHaS Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: FanCHaStic last night observing with CHaS! Enjoyed excellent weather conditions and followed up on interesting faint emission structure. Used the late hours of the night to capture first looks at possible early Spring targets. Continued issues with loss of guiding, usually clustered and occurring at least a few times in a row. Restarted the MIS three times when the guide probe froze (once only along the x-axis). Although generally not a significant loss of time for either issue. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Dec 6 [6:21:05]
