MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Dec 08 Observer(s): Thorstensen,Garcia-Soto,students Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS+B4K Worked for 4 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 3AM until 5 AM. Beg: Clear, Winds Calm, Not on site Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable, Open End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable, Humidity Observing Summary: Drove down mid-afternoon to fetch 5 students (4 undergrad and Aylin, the TA) at the airport. By the time we got the Forester, got a nice dinner at Mi Nidito, procured provisions, drove up, and settled in, it was 11 PM, so opened then. Humidity rose for a while and forced closure about 3 AM; humidity dropped around 5 AM so purged detector with dry nitrogen, re-opened, and observed for a short while into twilight.
