MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 May 19 Observer(s): Melso/Sitaram Institution(s): Columbia University Instrument: CHaS Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Got on-sky early in the night and had an excellent evening of observing with CHaS. Guider camera is working again but reaches end of range before achieving focus. The star doughnuts are too large to guide on. We think we have had a similar issue before; the CHaS focus requires an adjustment of the guider position? ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 May 20 [4:25:06]
