MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 May 21 Observer(s): Melso/Sitaram Institution(s): Columbia University Instrument: CHaS Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Spent the night on sky. CHaS and the telescope performed well! We had clear skies with a few clouds in the middle of the night. We pulled the instrument during the day to adjust the guider focus and the re-installation did not result in significant changes to the imaging performance. We did notice that we needed to re-focus the collimator slightly after the detector was removed/reinstalled. We are noticing a bit more of the clanging. Maybe 5 total tonight. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 May 22 [4:15:25]
