MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Nov 07 Observer(s): I. Cevallos Aleman, B. Cruvinel Santiago, D. Schiminovich Institution(s): Columbia University Instrument: CHaS Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 2 am until 5 am. Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: We tested a few different mask and lenslet array configurations for CHaS.We also tried to observe some of the same targets from the previous nights with these different configurations. At the beginning of the night, we had trouble with the mirror supports, which had to be restarted after we contacted Eric. Because of the time we spent troubleshooting, we couldn't observe one of our targets. We also had trouble with MIS, which had to be power cycled a few times over the night. The cloudy weather jeopardized guiding for a few hours, so we took less exposures than originally intended during the night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Nov 8 [5:40:13]
