MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Nov 09 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Clear pretty much all night with some high cloud; a bit cloudier toward the start. Good seeing, too. Got a lot done. I had a few problems -- the mirror support went haywire a couple of times, and the telescope had a short interval of jumping in RA. In addition the pointing seemed to wander more than I recall. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Nov 10 [6:46:37]
