MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Nov 12 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 12.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Clear with good seeing and light winds. No problems with airbags. Had trouble finding one target far over in the west near the pole because the pointing model doesn't seem to be much good in that part of the sky. Also, the telescope did its usual RA jumps a few times during the night. Other than that, it was a really beautiful night. I filled Templeton at the 1.3m and closed the dark hatch. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Nov 13 [6:43:46]
