MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Oct 13 Observer(s): Aylin Garcia Soto, Keighley Rockcliffe Institution(s): Dartmouth College Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 9 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Everything was ok until around 01:40, however the problem could have been earlier and I (Aylin) just didn't notice. I think it was 1:39am because I was having a very hard time finding the guide star. I assumed I found it but it wasn't until I moved target that I realized the X and Y values of the MIS GUI wasn't changing with guide star. It's stuck at Probe X 1448 and Probe Y 7806. I tried resetting the MIS GUI but the problem is the same. As per Katie Weil's suggestion, I might have accidentally hit a limit. However, the actual telescope hasn't move past an airmass of 1.2, so stewing it back to zenith was not an issue. I closed early because I don't know what else to do. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Oct 14 [4:44:06] NOTE: This report replaces the previous 2.4m telescope observing report for 2021 Oct 13
