MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2022 Apr 20 Observer(s): Alejandro Nunez, Luna Wang Institution(s): Columbia University Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Clear skies, low humidity, and light to moderate winds prevailed during the whole night. Seeing was good too. Early in the night, we accidentally attempted to move the 1.2 slit out while the finder was still moving out. There was a crack sound when it happened. In our quick spectral reductions, the peak of the aperture has a wonky shape, which we suspect is due to a faulty slit. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2022 Apr 21 [5:00:37]
