MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2022 May 18 Observer(s): Terndrup and crew Institution(s): Ohio State Instrument: OSMOS/B Worked for 3 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Night started off with very poor but slowly improving seeing. At 23:00, KPNO closed because of dust. Here there was clearly dust in flashlight beams and dust was accumulating on surfaces and on our car, so we closed. At 01:35 KPNO reopened, but there was still dust in flashlight beams near the 2.4m. This situation did not improve, so we closed for good at 02:00. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2022 May 19 [2:04:14]
