MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2023 Oct 28 Observer(s): Aylin Garcia Soto Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 8 hours (off and on through the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 21:45 until 2:30. Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Had a minor issue (Prospero status window froze and IC was down) around the beginning of the night around ~20h, which didn't affect me observing. Nonetheless Eric was able to fix it with just typing startup in Prosperos. Had to close around 23:45 due to humidity increasing over 77%. Around 00h the humidity had reached around 88%. Then checked back around 2:30 am and saw that humidity had gone down to 60% and continued to decrease so I reopened for a few more hours. Note, I do not actually know when the humidity went down so I wrote in the weather conditions when I reopened. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2023 Oct 29 [6:14:00]
