MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Apr 14 Observer(s): E. Moran et al. Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: CCDS Worked for 8.75 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Cirrus present at sunset, and it definitely affected our first target (but not seriously). But it became completely clear afterwards. I'll defer to the 1.3m observer as to whether it was photometric! Seeing was not great for the first half of the night, but was quite good in the latter half. Everything worked well, we were very efficient, and we got great data. Overall, this was a fabulous run. Almost no weather or hardware issues, no delays. Conditions were amazing, as was the support, and the data we got are better than expected. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2024 Apr 15 [4:31:51]
