MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Apr 15

Worked for 8 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 22:30 until 01:30.
   Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Overcast, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Started with some new observer troubles just remembering how
to do everything, but settled in after hearing some odd banging
from the dome. Seeing was average to start and then clouded over
with moon illuminating the clouds to make it extra difficult.
Packed up until about 1:30 and then resumed getting targets for
Shu. Will need another night on the priority targets due to the
weather. Really felt great about my plan I set up and I am really
happy to be back on sky.
