MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Dec 02

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable, cirrus at very end

Observing Summary:

Excellent night -- cirrus visible in morning twilight but we 
hadn't noticed it earlier.  The seeing was very good except
at the very start.  No focus slips using the truss as a reference
temperature.  Very productive; two technical glitches (see trouble
report).
