MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Dec 06 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 11 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Closed briefly in early evening because of residual cumulus from the daytime, some of which looked as if they might produce rain. It cleared up after that, for another good productive night. The telescope jumped several times while guiding -- always in the northwest part of the sky. Seeing was not as good as at the start of the run, typically about 1.5 arcsec. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2024 Dec 7 [12:41:43]
