MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Dec 09

Worked for 13 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds from 1 AM until dawn.
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 2+ arcsec, Clear, Winds High

Observing Summary:

The night started out nicely, with moderate winds and some good
seeing, but after midnight or so the winds picked up, the 
temperature dropped, and the seeing softened up. The strongest 
gusts reached 40 mph before dawn -- just kissing the limit.  
I still got good data since I had a nice bright target in the 
morning.
