MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Feb 28

Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from start until 2 AM.

Observing Summary:

A storm system arrived mid-day, and persisted into the evening;
I (Thorstensen) drove down to Tucson to have dinner with Virginia
Johns, widow of Matt Johns, who basically built this telescope. 
Stars started appearing around the time I got back a bit after
midnight, and it cleared off almost completely, but the humidity
had not dropped by 4:30 AM when we called it a night. 

During the morning fill Justin noticed the carpet under the 
dome slit was fairly wet, which is likely pretty typical, but 
perhaps worth mentioning.
