MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Jan 16

Worked for 13 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Nice and clear almost the whole night, with good seeing and 
light winds.  No problems.

After today's discoveries and discussions about the precarious 
state of the dome shutter mechanism, I left the dome open at the 
end of the night as agreed. My first solo observing run was in 
the summer of 1975, and this is the first time I've done this!
