MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Jan 16 Observer(s): Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Nice and clear almost the whole night, with good seeing and light winds. No problems. After today's discoveries and discussions about the precarious state of the dome shutter mechanism, I left the dome open at the end of the night as agreed.
