MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Jul 04

Worked for 4.5 hours (part of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 2.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

The night started off with extremely poor seeing, but this
soon settled down to bad but acceptable seeing.  We managed
to get a few good images AT LAST (given the lousy weather
all run), but then the problem with the tracking as reported
earlier has returned.  See trouble report for details.  

If this problem persists over the weekend, the 2.4m portion
of our run will be an almost total failure.
