MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Jun 02

Worked for 4 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing NA arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing NA arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Night started out great. Observed 4/5 exposures for Rob Fesen and
then on the last exposure the telescope sent me an approaching 
limits warning and then immediately said I hit the limit once
again. The telescope was not at the normal limit and not even at 
2 airmasses when this occured. I am guessing that me walking the
telescope back to zenith this morning caused the limit switches to 
be confused? Not sure but closing up early to not risk damage to
the telescope.
