MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Jun 04 Observer(s): Justin Anderson Institution(s): MDM Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 19:30 until 22:00. Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Night went okay. Seeing was okay, and I observed targets for Alejandro, Rob, and Michael. Had to stop early on one of rob's exposures due to the approaching limit warning at high dec again. Dome: Dome behaved really well all night, as for a question eric and I had, it does not appear the dome moves a few degrees past the telescope azimuth. That must've just been an error that stuck. The dome azimuth pretty much matched the telescope azimuth all night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2024 Jun 5 [5:20:59]
