MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Mar 17 Observer(s): M. Sitaram, N. Melso, J. Anderson Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: CHaS Worked for 5 hours (off and on through the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 9:30 until 2 AM. Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Threatening clouds in the beginning of the night. Opened around 7:30 PM and observed a galaxy target. Closed again at ~9:30 due to climbing humidity. Re-opened around 2 AM as humidity dipped and collected some data through patchy/cirrus clouds for the rest of the night.
