MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 May 09 Observer(s): justin anderson Institution(s): MDM Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 00:00 until 2:00. Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Weather was decent. Attempted an aforementioned offset procedure for alex, but was unsuccessful. Spent a few hours talking to Rob Fesen and he took time out of his night to educated me further on observing. After that I ran 3.5 hours of a direct imaging target for Doctor Terndrup. Have had some issues with displaying full read out flats in ds9.
