MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 May 09

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 00:00 until 2:00.
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Weather was decent. Attempted an aforementioned offset procedure
for alex, but was unsuccessful. Spent a few hours talking to Rob
Fesen and he took time out of his night to educated me further on
observing. After that I ran 3.5 hours of a direct imaging target
for Doctor Terndrup. Have had some issues with displaying full
read out flats in ds9. They tend to crash ds9, and I have to 
restart it to view my flat counts. Not sure why.
