MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2025 Aug 12 Observer(s): Luis Salazar Manzano, Ed lin Institution(s): Michigan Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 2 hours (first half of the night) Bad weather most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable End: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: We began the night by taking twilight flats and were able to point the telescope to clear patches of sky between the clouds. Conditions were good from astronomical twilight until the Moon rose; however, we could not obtain useful data because guiding camera issues, moving our target out of the slit. By the time the issue was resolved, the sky had become overcast. We closed the telescope, and as of the time of writing this report (~3 am), the sky has not improved, so we will end observations for the night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2025 Aug 12 [3:23:46]
