MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2025 Jun 30

Worked for 3 hours (part of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from start until 1 AM.
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Lots of high cloud at start, and an interval of howling wind and 
lower, opaque cloud. Conditions gradually improved, but KPNO 
remained closed due to smoke/dust. I was overly tired so took 
a long nap, and when I awoke around 1:30 AM it was beautifully 
clear; KPNO was still closed, and remained so, but the dust
did not seem excessive to me, so I opened up.
