MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2025 Sep 11 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSMOS Worked for 2 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 10 PM until end. Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: No raindrops or big storm in the evening, but after I opened just before sunset some more substantial clouds came over and I closed in case they generated sprinkles. It was reasonably clear late in twilight so I opened and took data for a couple of hours as the humidity crept up. It got to be too much by about 10 PM, so I closed up; as of 3 AM, we've been in heavy fog for a few hours so I'm calling it a night. I was working near the zenith and kept a trickle of dry N2 flowing into the instrument, so none of the data showed any effects of window fogging. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2025 Sep 12 [3:37:36]
