MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2026 Jan 07

Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Fog all night.

Observing Summary:

Poured all day, fog and wet at least until midnight.  
There's water dripping in the dome as usual, big areas of wet
carpet.  I filled the 4K dewar a bit after 1 and had to use a
wrench to get the fill tube unscrewed -- I suspect the threads
iced up. The bright side of this weather is that you just don't
have to worry about it.
