MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2025 Jan 22

Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 1700 until 0100.

Observing Summary:

Opened for a short while until 4 meter showed threatening clouds
and closed. Did not feel the clouds were threatening, but could
not observe through them either way so closed as well. Around 1am 
the clouds were fully gone but wind was gusting over 40 mph again,
so did not open like planned. Still not sure if wind was what 
caused the pointing to be so far off, so I am treating the 40 mph
wind gusts with a lot of respect. Calling it at 4 am, as the winds
aren't predicted to die down. Did not hear any bad noise from 
motor, and mirror covers appeared to have closed in correct 
order I believe.
