MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2026 Feb 23

Worked for 10.5 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Opened around 7PM and collected data of a few different galaxies 
with the higher-redshift O III filter throughout the night. Great 
weather and spectrograph performed well. Slight issues with 
telescope -- dome glitched and started moving around on its own 
around 3AM so had to switch to manual mode (it also did this 
yesterday). Also, the guide probe y-axis limit switch has failed 
but I was able to find guide stars by just moving in x.
