MDM Trouble Report for 2001 Dec 17

Problem(s) Encountered:
Twice the telescope moved on it's own accord. It squeaked 
shortly and moved, because I could see the stars in the guide 
field move across the monitor. At the time the telescope was 
pointing approx 2 hours the the east of the zenith and the 
movement was to the east. After the first time I pointed to 
zenith and went back to the same position. Then it happened 
a second time. I decided to continue and see what happened, 
but it didn't happen a third time.
