MDM Trouble Report for 2001 Jan 15

Problem(s) Encountered:
The password on etna was not updated and I could not login as
ccd. After logging in as root (with help of Arlin Crotts) and
su'ing to ccd I tried to start up director. This gave an error
message about the file .,session.np| being present already.
Arlin managed to delete it and after that I could run director
again.
Furthermore the Slave part of the MDM8K doesn't function, but
I've been told that that's been a problem for some time now.
One last thing is that the tape drive on etna isn't recognized.

No hours were lost because the weather was bad all night anyway.
