MDM Trouble Report for 2002 Jun 5

Telescope: 2.4m

Instrument: MKIII + echelle

Problem(s) Encountered:
The slit viewing optics in the MIS slid out of place at
large hour angles to the east.  It took me a while to figure
this out and apply a fix with duct tape.  I think the detent
that holds the slider is worn and won't hold without help.
