MDM Trouble Report for 2002 May 22

Problem(s) Encountered:
I know this is an unusual request (a real bug report) but 
there's a bug in the instrument.... *chuckle* I am not janking 
anyones chain. As I got started last night I noticed a large 
dark shadow on the slit jaws. It turned out to be a dead bug.
The real McCoy! It shifts as the telescope is moved. It is
getting closer and closer to the slit opening. I am concerned
that it will end up blocking the slit and/or fall into the
instrument. Is there a way to easily remove this corps before
my observing tonight? I really need tonights data.
