MDM Trouble Report for 2002 Nov 3

Problem(s) Encountered:
I was looking at a star and attempting to do a series of
focus frames on the star. In the ccdcom window on Chichon,
I typed  go . At this point, the computer screens went blank
and Chichon put up a white window overlaying the control 
windows saying something like  panic: memory failure  and
then began to reboot itself. It eventually came back up and
I was able to relogin as visitor and bring up new xmis,
xtcs, ccdcom and iraf windows and go to a bright star to
recenter the ra/dec encoders. Earlier in the weekend,
I noticed the computer seemed to be having glitches. At
one point the ccdcom window forgot what it was doing while
running cl on the chip (last night) and there seemed to be
some delays in between my typing a command and the computer
acting on the command.
I talked with Bob on the phone about this problem.
