MDM Trouble Report for 2003 Apr 13

Problem(s) Encountered:
I observed a number of events when the telescope
would suddently move north by about 30 seconds
of arc in about half a second, then pause for
2-10 seconds, and then move back to its original
location in 1-5 seconds (sometimes in 2-3 steps). 
I observed this for targets at declinations 
+1 to +17, with the general impression that the
events would occur significantly more often at the
smaller declinations. Events were observed both 
with the guider active and inactive. This did not
occur for targets at declinations larger than +17.
